Re: 6 Dragons mud Seeking advice to be easier to navigate for the blind
Thanks for the advice, I will let my coder know this. This community is very important to me, it may take us awhile to get a lot of these changes done, but I think it is well worth the effort. Vladaar |

Hi, I'm gonna try this mud out later and see what I think of it. I'm glad random mud admins are finding this list asking suggestions. I thought that this list was gonna go down the drain at some point. At least we have a small group, rather than nothing. |

I've never played your mud, but some tips: make turning the ascii map (if you have one) off easy; maybe with a question during character creation. avoid areas with many locations that all have the same or similar names, and make sure many of your locations have unique landmarks. This makes it easy to give instructions to players who can't see the map: "go three south of the large tree in the center of the woods then west. |

6 Dragons mud Seeking advice to be easier to navigate for the blind
Greetings, I have added making the mud easier to navigate for the blind on my coder's list of tasks to accomplish. We so far believe we need to start out by trying to listen to a reader, and see how our mud works with it to adjust things and make it easier. Also, I realize my website could use some updating so it is readable. However, any additional advice, or pitfalls to avoid I would appreciate your help. |
