Hello, Everyone!

Again, I appreciate the feedback.

I'm pleased to tell you that we at Ancient Anguish have implemented the simplest of the requests, a text descriptive realm map that has the same information that can be found in our ascii map but is kind to screen readers. This is the huge map that contains both continents, islands, and all areas, and was a group effort by myself, 5 other immortals, and one of our players.

This map can be found on our website here: http://anguish.org/gameplay/accessiblemap.html

This is really basic html, so let me know if there's any modifications I can make to have the map be more useful.

We're also still looking at a way to modify the general in-game ascii maps, but it's not a simple task. The in-game ascii maps are optional and most navigation in our realm is by cardinal directions.

The newbie mapkit is very visual, but not necessary for playing the game. Many of us learned Main or Tantallon (and all the other areas and towns) without any kind of visual maps.

In addition to our implemented prompt on/off command to display hit points and spell points or nothing but a greater than symbol, we're looking at implementing an ascii on/off command that we can use for signs and other stray code.

Monster health during and the lengthy help file with area directions still need to be addressed, but we have been discussing ways to improve our game for you.
