Hello all, I would like to tell you about the best Text Mud Game around. It is called Legend and I have been playing it now, for around 9 years.
It is a huge game, having 3 era's you can trans between. Ancient, Medi and Industrial. This game has hundreds of rooms, with specific areas and hometowns in each era. There are many classes to pick from, ranging from a Create Mage to a nimble sniper.
There are many, many quests to be taken part in, in Legend. The levels are fun to get, and now there is a whole nother World after you hit level 50, which is the top level. There are Era levels which are special abilities that can be learned after level 50 and many more things now, that means this game never needs to stop being fun and exciting.
The people on Legend are also very friendly and helpful. There are public channels, such as Chat and Warzone, where different questions can be asked and answered by the players or Immortals. The Immortals are all very helpful and plan lots of great games, for players to participate in and win great prizes with.
This is a PKE enabled Mud, where if you choose, you can Player Kill Enable up to 5 of your own alts. This is quite a new thing for the game and seems to be working well. It is not a forced PKE option though, you get to choose if you want to join it, and then get enabled, after level 10. There is also some great Role Play that goes on as well, making this game very suitable for anyone's main likes. Clans can be joined and fun can be had that way also.
There is housing available, where as you might have to spend a bit of money on buying your actual house, cave or fishing hut, but there after, the rent for your home is very in expensive, making it fun to own your own home.
