Hi,
for me personally, the descriptions of items and mobs make the atmosphere of the game.
It really puts me off when I look at a mob for example and only get "a dog is standing here". Well, that it's standing there I knew when I came into the room.
And descriptions are really no problem for a blind player or not for me at least, because we can read them like we read any other things in the game like descriptions of romms etc.
As long as there are no asci arts in the descriptions (yes, I found such a thing in a mud!) it's all right.
And like I said, mobs and items without good descriptions take a lot out of the mud for me.
Regards
Sarah
